Want to know why you will fail as an It Works Distributor?
There are generally 2 reasons why people want to become an It Works Distributor…
1. Some people have tried our Ultimate Body Applicator (wrap, Skinny Wrap) and achieved really good results, so now they want to sell them.
They want to tell the world about this wonderful product they found that gave them great, visible results. They’re excited to share the wraps with their friends, family, coworkers…and everyone!
2. Some people want or need to make more money. For whatever reason – pay monthly bills, pay off debt, supplement a full time job, to save for a family vacation or to save to a child’s education.
Whatever the reason may be, this person wants to make more money. Some people even begin full time because they lost their j-o-b.
Why did I join?
Personally, I joined because I was drowning in credit card debt and HAD to do something.
I heard about the wraps from Facebook and researched for a few days about the product, people’s results and the business. I ordered some wraps and ended up joining the business even before I got my wraps!
With everything I read (which was mostly good…there are nay-sayers in every business), I just had a good feeling about this solid, reputable company that had a great compensation plan/bonuses and several ways of making money.
It’s hard to explain…I just knew the wraps would work and had a good feeling about the company.
This was the right fit for me…it was a feeling I can’t explain and I’m so glad I joined!
Oh, and in less than two years, I’ve paid off over $19,000 of debt!! It’s a great feeling!!!
I make much more as an It Works Distributor part time than I bring home at my full time job of 10 years!
In the time I’ve been a distributor and have seen others come and go and I have been able to notice some reasons why some people fail in this business. I’m going to give you some of those reasons that I have personally experienced…
Why You will fail as an It Works Distributor…
Not getting started with your business right away…
I suggest that my distributors start their business immediately and get the word out about their new business! The longer it gets put off the longer before you start making money!
I have a strategy for my team on getting started and making sure they get their first 4 loyal customers in their first 30 days.
This gets them qualified for the $500 Ruby Bonus.
You know, life gets in the way sometimes and you can’t wait for things to ‘be right’ or for everything to be ‘in order’ before you get started.
I teach my team to make their money back from their initial investment even before their business kit reaches their mail box.
To be honest, this is a mistake I made!
Joining during the Holiday season, I thought I was too busy to do much with my business…after all, it was the Holiday season.
How wrong I was! I didn’t actually begin really working my business like I should have been until after the beginning of the new year.
What a big mistake! Don’t make the same mistake!
Not treating your business like a business…
As I stated above, I treated my business like a hobby over the Holidays and missed out on making cash, commissions and growing my team! I
If you treat your business like a hobby, you’ll only earn ‘hobby pay’. If you only work your business when you ‘feel’ like it, you won’t be successful…you will fail.
Setting a schedule and specific times to focus strictly on your business is a must. Time with no distractions.
You may have to give up some things that you currently do to pass your time.
Reality tv shows, sit coms, nightly movies or whatever shows you watch, aren’t going to make you bank.
Do those tv shows put money in your pocket? NO.
You’ve gotta be serious and treat your business like a business if you want want to make more than hobby pay.
Letting attitude and feelings get in the way…
Yes, your attitude and feelings have a lot to do with why you will be successful and why you will fail. When you sign on and have an attitude that says…
Well, I’ll sign up and just see how it goes. This is an attitude of failure.
Join my team with an attitude that says…I will do whatever it takes to be successful in my business…
this is the attitude of someone who will be successful!
Are you shy? Someone who doesn’t really feel comfortable being around people and don’t like taking to people, you probably won’t be very successful in this business…it’s about building relationships.
If you cannot handle the feeling of rejection, you will not be very successful in this, or most any business.
Here’s a piece of advice…
You will get more no’s than yes’ in network marking. You must be willing to introduce your product to people every single day.
There are some people that work their business for 2 weeks…talking or emailing, posting on social media, etc and get little to no response.
And say, ‘no one is buying’…They are ready to give up!!!! Quitting before they even get their business started!
One of our top earners in the company didn’t sign on a single distributor until 6 months after she joined!
Here’s another piece of advice…After you sign on as a Distributor, many of your friends/family/coworkers will sit back and see what YOU will do!
They will watch and see if YOUR successful and see if YOU stick with it! Yes, they will sit back and see if you fail!
Not ‘Living’ Your Business…
You are in your business office every day. YOU are your business office!
Strike up a conversations about your business every where you go, every day. From the grocery store, taking your kids to the doctor/dentist, clothes shopping, with moms at the park…anywhere you go.
My team teaches so many ways to blitz (hand out our coupon, business cards). We teach you how to be in business everywhere you go.
Example: One Distributor was at the bank for a loan. She spoke with the representative about her wrap business. She wanted wrapped and they went into the restroom and she was wrapped and signed as a customer immediately.
My team teaches some unique ways of getting the word of your business out there and getting people’s interest. Some are without even talking to people!
